For the third consecutive year, we have achieved the Gold Standard in the Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion’s (enei) Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) accreditation. We are one of only 25 Gold Standard winners out of 185 global entries, from across 26 different sectors. With an overall score of 94%, we are the third highest ranked organisation out of all entries this year – a truly incredible accomplishment demonstrating our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
TIDE is enei’s comprehensive self-assessment, evaluation, and benchmarking tool which measures an organisation’s credentials in advancing diversity and inclusion. It focuses on eight different areas such as leadership and accountability, recruitment and attraction, and training and development.
Chief Executive, Daren Mochrie said, “Given the tough global competition for this award, it is fantastic that we have achieved a hat-trick by securing three successive Gold Standards. The leadership team and I are fully committed to ensuring that we continue to champion the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda across all parts of our organisation, and in delivery of our services.”
Lisa Ward, Director of People added, “The TIDE is an important accreditation as it measures our EDI intentions and performance against so many other organisations from a range of different sectors. So, I am proud that we have achieved the Gold Standard consecutively for three years as it shows that we have the right focus on EDI for our staff and patients. I recognise however that there is still more that we need to more to improve experiences of staff, and nurture an ever more inclusive culture for all.”
The team at enei shared, “Please share our warmest congratulations with everyone at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust who made this exceptional achievement possible. We’re excited to see your continued progress. Once again, a huge congratulations on your well-deserved TIDE award! Let’s keep working together to foster diverse and inclusive work environments.”
