The Social Value Awards highlight the positive impact public sector organisations have in the areas and communities in which they work.
Recognised for our Green Plan, we have been awarded within the scheme’s environment category. This details our intentions to reduce business mileages and fleet air pollutant emissions by 20 percent and use low-emissions engines by 2028 in line with the net-zero by 2040 NHS carbon footprint plan.
Cheshire and Merseyside Partnerships and Integration Manager Linsey Hall who submitted the application says: “Achievement of this award enables us to build connections and collaborations to achieve community outcomes, showcase the ethical and moral contribution that the organisation makes to our local communities. It cements our efforts to collaborate and work in partnership with complementary organisations to deliver enhanced services for our patients.”
The Social Value Business work in partnership with the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership to administer the Cheshire and Merseyside Social Value Award. The Social Value Award is valid for five years.
