If you have been attended by an ambulance crew following an epileptic fit, they may have administered some medication to help you recover.
You may find that your head feels fuzzy or that you have a headache. This is normal and it should get better.
Things that will help you get better include:
- Someone should stay with you until you feel fully recovered
- You should rest in a quiet area until you feel recovered
- Avoid alcohol until you are recovered
- Take painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen if you have a headache. Ensure that you follow the instructions
