The vacancies are across Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester and we’re looking for people who are passionate about patient care and want a rewarding healthcare career.
Ambulance care assistants support patients to get to and from their planned medical appointments. Working alone or as part of a crew, in this role you would support and care for patients with different mobilities, disabilities and conditions. It would be your job to ensure they are safe, comfortable and cared for on their journey for treatment or back to their home.
Excellent communication and caring skills are a must in this role – you might be the highlight of someone’s day!
Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than three endorsement points and be willing to attend a three-week full-time training course at one of our training centres.
Knowing how to approach the application process can sometimes be quite daunting, so we have arranged several virtual support sessions where you will meet our recruitment experts, discuss the role and receive advice and guidance on how to make your application stand out.
