EDIT: Please note this event is now full.
It’s a great opportunity if you want to know how to start a career within the ambulance service, have an interest in lifesaving skills, or want to know more about how the ambulance service can help you.
The event is perfect for you if you are:
• a student or young person who wants to know how to start a career within the ambulance service
• someone who supports or works with learning disability groups
• a parent or guardian
• an NHS professional
• someone with an interest in your local ambulance service
The event format is tailored to young people but all members of the public in the Cumbria area are welcome to come along and get involved. At our event, you can expect:
• information about the various rewarding careers which make a difference to your community
• to learn more about lifesaving skills
• and opportunity to meet and ask questions to paramedics working in your area
• interactive activities and stands about the ambulance service
• a free lunch and refreshments
This is the only event we will be holding in Cumbria this year. Join us on Thursday 14 November 2024 10:30–14:00 at Kendal Town Hall, 9a Lowther St, Kendal, LA9 4DA.
