Figures show in the last 10 months, there have been 90 incidents of physical and verbal acts of aggression against our ambulance crews in the area, so we took to the streets of Blackpool to raise awareness and drive home the message that these actions will not be tolerated.

The LVRN is a team of specialists from health, education, police, youth offending, probation, local government and social care who are working together to tackle violent crime. We are pleased to be working with them to support our staff. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing more about taking a stand throughout the North West to ensure our staff can work without fear.
