A pillar of the team is Special Operations Project Support Officer and Co-chair of NWAS Disability Network Adam Rigby who joined his colleagues for the eight-mile hike up the hill summit.

Assistant Director of Resilience Steve Hynes said: “Together we navigated the rugged paths, climbing over styles in the rainy weather to get to the top whilst taking time to chat with each other along the way about what Disability History Month means to us, our colleagues, friends, and family.

“It was a memorable day and a great achievement to all make it to the top.”
